Toyota of Portland, a dealership in the O'Brien Auto Group, is currently interviewing for a full-time Sales Manager. The Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing wholesale and retail profits by better merchandising, lot operation and staff management. This position pays Commission based off the store's Gross Sales Department. Responsibilities to Include: Sales of new cars Manage a new car inventory of 45 days supply based off of sales volume Avoid new car inventory aging over 90 days Oversee used car inventory assisting used car manager when needed Manage and train sales team which is #1 in district CSI measured by factory monthly summary report Be #1 in district new car volume/gross and be in top 10 nationally in volume Manage, hire, and train a high quality sales staff with a focus on high volume, high gross, and high CSI (all hiring to be approved by GM) Involve all sales team members in a weekly game plan Manager sales team accessory sales on new cars to $500 PNVR or more Manage finance and make them accountable for the processing of all retail deals within three days Oversee the management of inventory control manager and all lot porters Assume responsibilities of GM when GM is absent from store Establish yearly business plan and follow monthly to stay on track Obtain monthly production numbers from management and all sales staff and combine with results Maintain and establish high level of intensity Be accountable for all factory incentive dollars and current programs Keep gross book updated and current Stay current on all leasing and finance programs Oversee training on up log, week at a glance, 3 prospects daily, 10 follow-up and 20 cold calls daily, phone script, walk around, 7 steps, delivery process, and write up Train salespersons how to do a proper finance turn Physical walk and check of new car inventory Daily sales meeting Manage showroom monitor system information Perform other duties as assigned by management Regular attendance is essential Work in cooperative, positive & professional manner with all personnel in the company Treat members of the public and customers in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner.
