The Sales Manager, US New Business is responsible for driving new customer acquisition across the US market while leading and developing a team of sales representatives. This role focuses on building strong pipeline, improving conversion, and delivering consistent revenue growth. The Sales Manager will execute the US sales strategy, foster a high performance culture, and ensure Brightmine’s value is clearly communicated to prospective customers. This is a hands on leadership role requiring strong coaching capability, commercial awareness, and a focus on results.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of B2B sales experience with a focus on new business acquisition
  • 3 to 5 years of experience managing and developing sales teams
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding new business revenue targets
  • Experience in solution based or SaaS sales environments
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel within the US as required

  • Experience selling into HR, compliance, data, or professional services markets is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of new business sales representatives to achieve revenue targets
  • Drive consistent pipeline generation through outbound activity and structured prospecting
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy
  • Execute the US new business sales strategy in line with commercial objectives
  • Manage individual and team performance through regular coaching and development
  • Work closely with Marketing to align lead generation and campaign activity
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and other internal teams to support the customer journey
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development of new team members
  • Maintain strong awareness of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
