Requirements

  • 3+ years of Used Car Manager experience in a high-volume dealership
  • Strong track record of inventory control, gross profit, and turn management
  • Deep understanding of used car market dynamics and valuation tools
  • Confident leader with the ability to coach, hold accountability, and inspire results
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • All applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire new/ used vehicle operation, from acquisition to retail delivery
  • Source inventory through auctions, trades, direct buys, and digital acquisition tools
  • Manage inventory turn, pricing strategy, and market competitiveness
  • Partner with the Sales, F&I, and Recon teams to maximize gross and volume
  • Oversee appraisal process and establish disciplined buying strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and internal policies
  • Analyze performance using KPIs, market data, and inventory metrics
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales and support staff
  • Drive a culture of professionalism, urgency, and customer satisfaction
