About The Position

The Sales Manager – Las Vegas is responsible for building, leading, and managing the NACE Las Vegas sales team. This is a player-coach leadership role responsible for building, leading, and developing a growing sales team in a true B2B wholesale environment. The Sales Manager will manage a small team of sales representatives while also supporting key accounts, driving new business, and helping scale the operation over time. This role is ideal for someone who has sold telecom, cable, fiber, network infrastructure, or surveillance/security equipment and can quickly ramp on technical products while coaching junior sales reps.

Requirements

  • Proven experience selling B2B wholesale products
  • Background in telecommunications, cable, fiber, network infrastructure, or surveillance/security equipment
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring sales teams
  • Ability to learn technical products quickly
  • Comfortable in a phone-based sales environment
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience
  • At least 2 years of direct, relevant industry experience preferred
  • Prior sales leadership or player-coach experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage key account sales and support representatives on complex opportunities
  • Establish monthly sales quotas, performance goals, and accountability standards
  • Assign and manage sales leads, house accounts, and personal account lists
  • Analyze sales statistics, performance trends, and market data to guide strategy
  • Develop pricing strategies, margin analysis, and discount programs
  • Monitor customer profiles, account histories, and service quality standards
  • Track market share, coverage, penetration, and competitive activity
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and structured training sessions
  • Provide daily oversight to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and expectations
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews and ongoing coaching
  • Verify salaries, commissions, bonuses, splits, and compensation accuracy
  • Represent NACE at industry trade shows and events
  • Develop and manage the sales department budget
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and performance reports
  • Coordinate product introductions and technical training with internal teams
  • Review and approve orders for pricing accuracy and nomenclature
  • Communicate unit cost changes, delivery timelines, and anticipated delays
  • Recommend product stocking levels and product line rationalization
  • Review contract pricing agreements upon expiration
  • Recommend procedural improvements impacting the Sales Department
