About The Position

Kocourek is looking for a Sales Manager to join their growing team. In some cases, managers must provide direction and motivation to the sales staff in order to move the most inventory possible as fast as possible. Additional job duties include hiring, coaching, training and setting sales goals for employees. Automotive sales managers also develop annual sales budgets, monitor inventory and cultivate good guest relations. As an automotive sales manager, you are responsible for marketing, advertising and special promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Desk deals and give salespeople direction in closing deals.
  • Talk with all new and used car customers before they leave.
  • Maintain CSI scores that are above the region.
  • Market and merchandise our new and used car inventory (lot appearance, sale tags, etc.).
  • Keep work environment upbeat and positive (attitude sells).
  • Make sure that all new and used car customers are followed up within 24 hours.
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of showroom, office areas and guest area.
  • Update forecasts and track all sales activity.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner.
  • Learn how to take on additional responsibilities as to continue to move up within the organization.
  • Conduct effective and meaningful training meetings.
  • Review the daily D.O.C. for accuracy.
  • Conduct daily one-on-ones with salespeople.
