About The Position

AST is posting this role on behalf of Marchesini Group USA and this role is a full-time, onsite position based in New Jersey. Marchesini Group USA is seeking an Experienced Sales Manager to generate and handle sales for our Pharmaceutical R&D and Laboratory Equipment line of packaging machinery. Requirements

Functional Experience: Brings strong commercial experience. Demonstrates an independent, results-driven work ethic. A self-starter and team player who is motivated to succeed. Superior people/customer relationship skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Industry Experience & Tenure: 3-5 years’ broad experience and knowledge of pharma processes and packaging equipment. Brings strong network connections and relationships.

Responsibilities

Develops, generates and manages sales activity for Pharma R&D and Laboratory sector customers.
Manage and generate sales activity for large key accounts as well as small to mid-size customers.
Executes the complete sales cycle from initial contact onwards.
Creates and maintains strong working customer relations.
Maintains and manages customer database and reports in CRM.
Sales forecast planning.
Drives growing sales in expanding market.
Provide timely and accurate reports as required.
Initial sales area to cover the whole of North America.
