This hotel offers 1,878 elegantly appointed guestrooms and an impressive 150,000 square feet of versatile event space. With 49 meeting rooms, including the largest ballroom spanning 21,673 square feet, it’s an ideal destination for conferences, conventions, and upscale gatherings in the heart of Manhattan. Our ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in hotel group sales and a proven track record of motivation and performance. We’re seeking someone with solid tenure in previous roles, demonstrating reliability and commitment. The right individual will be driven to exceed goals, build lasting client relationships, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. This in-office role requires familiarity with the Wholesale FIT Market, Airline Crew, and International Sales—or the ability to quickly and effectively learn these segments to deliver results. The candidate should also work well with a sales partner to strategize and execute sales plans. Requirements

1–2 years of experience in hotel group sales
Proven track record of motivation and performance
Solid tenure in previous roles, demonstrating reliability and commitment
Driven to exceed goals, build lasting client relationships, and thrive in a collaborative team environment
Familiarity with the Wholesale FIT Market, Airline Crew, and International Sales—or the ability to quickly and effectively learn these segments to deliver results
Ability to work well with a sales partner to strategize and execute sales plans
Strong sales, communication, and networking skills
Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and then apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel

Responsibilities

Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams, to meet and exceed lead generation goals.
Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts. Consistently strives to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.
Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.
This role requires strong sales, communication, and networking skills. The ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and then apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel.
Customer and Account Management - Apply strong sales skills to create customer value. Differentiate Hilton from the competition and bring clear value to customers and the organizations they represent.
Prospecting - Demonstrate a mastery of the prospecting process. Identify potential customers. Prepare and implement your call strategy.
Negotiations - Understand the customer and the business leaders expectations. Adapt to a changing market.
Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau and Intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the Hotel.
Develop and execute plans to engage in outside sales calls, industry tradeshows and customer events.
Develop, execute and communicate a monthly, quarterly and annual business plan for a designated market.
Maintain up to date pipeline of business opportunities that will meet the short and long-term business objectives for the designated market.
Represent hotel in all interactions dealing with their customers relative to sales, including creating business proposals and executing contracts.
Conduct site inspections through masterful story telling with prospective and existing customers based on their individual needs.
Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food, and beverage services, etc.
Initiate new sales, prospect, and qualify leads and solicit potential clients
Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
Conduct property site visits and answer questions
Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost and potential business for the hotel.
Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue and room night goals
Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts
