About The Position

Requirements

  • Extensive Sales Experience: 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the automotive dealership industry.
  • Management Experience: 1-2 years of management experience preferred, highlighting your capability to lead and develop a successful sales team.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office and internet tools.
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Mindset: A professional demeanor with a solution-oriented approach and a commitment to continuous improvement in the industry.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)

Nice To Haves

  • Management Experience: 1-2 years of management experience preferred, highlighting your capability to lead and develop a successful sales team.
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Inspire: Recruit, train, and manage a top-performing sales team. Oversee schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and address any disciplinary actions to maintain a motivated and efficient team.
  • Drive Sales Performance: Set and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Develop strategic plans, manage budgets, and support your team in closing deals and achieving sales excellence.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Champion customer satisfaction by monitoring ratings, addressing concerns, and ensuring every customer receives exceptional service.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies, forecast annual sales, and manage inventory and purchasing. Implement effective sales control systems and drive continuous improvement.
  • Achieve Top CSI Scores: Maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) through exceptional service and effective issue resolution.
  • Maintain Professionalism: Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor to set a high standard for your team. Approach challenges proactively with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Training & Compliance: Conduct regular sales training, ensure compliance with automotive sales laws, and consult with department heads to align on advertising, equipment, and customer needs.
  • Adapt and Contribute: Perform additional duties as needed to support the dealership's dynamic needs and overall success.
