The Sales Manager will be responsible for building, training, motivating, and maintaining a quality sales organization. This role involves assisting in hiring sales consultants, conducting in-depth initial training sessions covering dealership selling systems, product knowledge, and professional conduct, and scheduling regular training sessions to review and reinforce sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills. The Sales Manager will also negotiate trade-in deals, stay informed about used vehicle inventory and pricing, monitor daily sales operations, research market trends, cultivate strong customer relationships, and collaborate with the service department to ensure a seamless customer experience. Establishing and enforcing policies that prioritize customer satisfaction and setting appraisal guidelines are also key aspects of the role.
