About The Position

This position is accountable for managing the sales and service relationship for specific Thermoform accounts as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a sales role, preferably within the food and/or packaging sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Strong budgeting, planning, and management skills
  • Effective presentation and computer skills
  • Requires significant level of sales proficiency.
  • Must have the ability to provide guidance to the technical, manufacturing and finance teams to support a project.
  • High level of organization and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills through: Delivery of targeted sales presentations Concise assessments of customer requirements Ability to prospect and target potential customers.
  • Achieves results by prioritizing tasks, overcoming obstacles, and seeking additional support/resources when needed.
  • Successfully aligns customer objectives with both short-term and long-term strategic priorities by: Understanding the market, customer trends, competition, and overall industry. Adjusting and revising sales plans and objectives throughout the sales cycle.
  • Expertly responds to opportunities by seeking necessary input, analyzing data, and making timely decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
  • An Engineering degree and/or relevant training is also preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops strong and wide customer relationships.
  • Generates plans to ensure broad penetration into accounts within assigned territory.
  • Understands complex customer requirements on both business and technical level.
  • Generates, develops, and closes sales opportunities with focus on complete customer satisfaction and operating profit.
  • Develops presentations to promote Thermoform business and products, resolve/ address customer satisfaction and operating profit.
  • Develops effective strategies for winning in a competitive environment while maintaining focus on the business strategy.
  • Owns and fully manages requests for pricing, contracts and samples.
  • Meets and exceeds quarterly sales targets.
  • Provides input related to product management, marketing and manufacturing based on customer needs and issues.
  • Travels approximately 60% of the time.
