About The Position

Marin Acura, a family-owned and operated dealership since 1986, is seeking a Sales Manager to join our team. We're looking for a professional who is not only driven to achieve results but is also deeply committed to mentoring and inspiring a high-performing sales team. Your primary mission will be to mentor, train, and guide our sales associates, helping them to master their craft and deliver an exceptional customer experience. While you will oversee daily sales operations, a large portion of your role will be dedicated to the growth and professional development of your team.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related experience in an automotive sales management role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) such as Reynolds and Reynolds, DealerTrack, and DealerSocket CRM.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate.
  • A valid driver's license and sales license are required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to sales associates.
  • Conduct strategic sales meetings and actively work to recognize and promote high performance.
  • Oversee lead control, pricing, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify problem areas and direct corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the General Sales Manager and General Manager to prepare sales forecasts.
  • Manage budgets and contribute to the dealership's strategic goals.
