We are looking for a new Sales Manager-West Coast, to be located in the Silicon Valley area. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without Elektrobit visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in a technical sales role; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in successfully selling software products in the automotive market, such as Classic AUTOSAR, Adaptive AUTOSAR, embedded and cyber security, Connected Car, HMI, testing/tooling and related engineering services.
  • Understand software development processes in the automotive industry.
  • Have a proven record of accomplishment in meeting or exceeding assigned quotas.
  • Able to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including management.
  • Express both technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Have proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
  • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Position products against competitors.
  • Have good listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills in English and local language.
  • Enjoy travelling to customer sites.
  • Silicon Valley area preferred.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for West Coast sales & account activities for multiple Tier 1 and OEMs and work closely with other members of the customer engagement team to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with assigned customers.
  • Effectively communicate the EB value proposition of our products, solutions, and services through discussions with customer, proposals, and presentations.
  • Identify and execute approaches to win new and recurring business by understanding customer’s needs and objectives.
  • Contribute towards strategy, risk assessment and reliable forecasting with assigned accounts.
  • Ensure close alignment and collaboration across cross functional customer engagement team to drive the RFI/RFP processes.
  • Prepare quotes, review with key stakeholders and lead negotiations and deal closing based on sound market understanding.
  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction and business growth for Elektrobit with a long-term outlook.
  • Direct reporting line to the Chief Revenue Officer, Americas.
