Manage all functions of the sales process to law enforcement agencies in a designated territory. Responsibilities Promote and sell handheld breath alcohol instruments. Research and follow government funding status and mechanisms. Seek out business development opportunities. Understand the specific needs and specifications of individual customers. Provide quotes and bids in a timely manner. Attend trade shows and conferences to develop customer contacts and relationships. Maintain existing customer base relationships with policy officers, forensic scientists, DUI program personnel, and other related law enforcement personnel. Communicate professionally and effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and service departments. Develop and maintain an adequate understanding of company products and competitor products. Carry out effective training and demonstration of products. Provide an estimated sales plan to the planning process and a weekly report on a timely basis.
