Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Sales Manager or leadership role within an automotive dealership
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and delivering strong gross performance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and inspire high-performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, compliance requirements, and finance workflows
  • Proficient with CRM tools, DMS platforms (CDK experience preferred), and digital sales strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Professional presence, positive attitude, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed goals in volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Drive daily sales operations, including process management, lead follow-up, and customer engagement
  • Manage showroom activity and ensure an exceptional guest experience from start to finish
  • Set and track individual and team performance metrics, providing regular feedback and guidance
  • Collaborate with the finance and service departments to streamline operations and maximize deal efficiency
  • Develop innovative strategies to generate traffic, increase closing ratios, and grow the dealership’s market share
  • Recruit, train, and develop top sales talent to build a winning, customer-focused team
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
