About The Position

Team Kelli Lang RE/MAX Gateway is seeking a full-time Sales Manager & Recruiter to join our in-house leadership team in Anacortes, WA. This role is designed for a people-first leader who thrives on coaching, accountability, and growth. You’ll work closely with our agents to drive performance, support their business development, and help them stay aligned with team goals—while also playing a key role in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding top talent to the team. As Sales Manager & Recruiter, you’ll be instrumental in shaping our culture and future. From agent coaching and pipeline accountability to recruiting conversations and relationship-building, you’ll help ensure our agents feel supported, challenged, and positioned for success. This is a leadership role for someone who brings structure, energy, and clarity to a high-performing environment. We’re looking for a confident communicator, natural connector, and motivator who enjoys developing people and building strong teams. Requirements

  • Background in real estate, sales leadership, recruiting, project management, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident on the phone and comfortable leading conversations and follow-ups
  • Tech-savvy and experienced with MLS platforms, CRMs, and Google Workspace tools
  • People-first, service-driven mindset with a passion for helping others succeed
  • Natural connector who enjoys coaching, motivating, and building strong relationships
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and growth mindset
  • Reliable, consistent in-office presence, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a coach and accountability partner for agents, helping them manage pipelines, follow up consistently, and stay focused on income-producing activities
  • Track team production, dashboards, and weekly KPIs, providing visibility, follow-up, and momentum
  • Support agent onboarding, ongoing training, and skill development to drive performance and confidence
  • Identify challenges, remove obstacles, and refine systems and workflows so agents can focus on serving clients and closing deals
  • Proactively attract, engage, and recruit high-quality agents who align with team culture and values
  • Conduct recruiting conversations, follow-ups, and relationship-building with prospective agents
  • Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new agents are set up for success from day one
  • Partner with leadership to support agent retention, growth plans, and long-term career paths
  • Help drive clear, consistent communication across the team
  • Support team meetings, trainings, and performance check-ins
  • Foster a positive, collaborative environment that celebrates wins and accountability
  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and care when needed
  • Support day-to-day office needs and special projects as they arise
  • Assist with team events, trainings, and culture-building initiatives
