About the position

The Sales Manager Pharma will lead the development of Comecer's Isolator Technology Solutions and corresponding accessories for managing aseptic applications in the Pharma and Cell & Gene Therapy fields in North America. These include, but are not limited to, aseptic handling and filling of liquid and powder APIs, dispensing custom R&D isolators, potent API processing Isolators (PAPI), modular sterility testing isolators (MSTI), ATEX isolators, Baby Phill small batch vial filling, ValueCell Fill line for Closed Bag Filling, fully automated end-to-end filling systems, Speedy Glove testers and VPHP sterilization. This person will have a very important leading role in selling COMECER Pharma and Cell & Gene Therapy Solutions to potential customers in North America. This individual is the first contact customers will meet and will be in direct contact before, during and after project development with the final user of the system.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for revenues of the territory assigned to their care
  • Collaborate with their director in defining budget forecasts for the assigned territory
  • Organize activities for customer scouting and recruiting through public marketing activities, direct customer contacts, dedicated presentations, networking activities, and other initiatives
  • Responsible for all communication activities during marketing events where Comecer is involved
  • Plan, coordinate and realize the launch in the market of new solutions for the Pharma and Cell & Gene Therapy fields
  • Prepare Pharma and Cell & Gene Therapy quotations with Comecer systems
  • Travel will be required
  • Occasional overtime is expected
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in engineering, microbiology, or business
  • Adaptable to different situations with proven experience in commercialization of Laboratory Equipment, Laboratory Consumables, Aseptic Environments, Lab ware or similar issues
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and financial principles
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation skills for multi-year contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate strategically
  • Fluent in English, written and oral; fluent in Italian is an asset
  • Technical proficiency in using Sales Force and Microsoft Office tools
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Must be eligible and able to travel domestically & internationally within 30 days from hire date
