Requirements

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and potential areas for business growth.
  • Establish clear sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Estimators, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement training initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team, focusing on sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and implementing development plans to foster continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly, ensuring a positive client experience and maintaining the company's reputation.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of bids and proposals, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and risks are mitigated.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities and timely progression through the sales cycle.
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Operations, and Project Management teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, highlighting performance metrics, pipeline status, and strategic insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and methodologies, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
