Specifically, the multifamily Rental sales team works with owners and operators of rental properties throughout the US, helping to connect rental shoppers with the property they will next call home. The Rentals business operates in a very collaborative environment, working together to provide the best client experience in the industry. At all levels, we work hard, roll up our sleeves, dig in, and get work done. We are seeking a Sales Manager to help us exponentially grow our Rentals marketplace. This role is responsible for the overall performance of a dynamic sales team working with large, medium, and small partners across the Central region. A key focus will be on coaching a team to high sales productivity while fostering deep, meaningful, and long-term client partnerships. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. Requirements

2+ years sales leadership experience, including implementation and ongoing management of goal setting, accountability metrics, and pipeline management
A proven sales leader with a passion for coaching, upskilling, and building talent pipelines, especially in a growth and retention model
Brings proven experience leading in a traveling leadership capacity—balancing virtual team management with in-person presence in multiple regions to unify culture, accelerate adoption, and drive results
Skilled at balancing virtual leadership with in-person engagement, scaling best practices while adapting to local market needs
Experienced at leading in a true hybrid environment, ensuring alignment, engagement, and accountability, whether teams are remote, onsite, or blended
Ability to lead through ambiguity and in an ever-evolving, fast-paced environment
Excel at coaching sales teams on handling a complex sales process that may include multiple decision makers and influencers
Confident communicator with the ability to influence decision makers at all levels, internally and externally
Strong presentation skills, influencing multiple levels within an organization, including at the C-level with outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
Strong working knowledge of CRM software – preferably Salesforce
Available to travel up to 50% to meet with industry decision makers in corporate marketing as well as at divisional and national levels

Responsibilities

Own, develop, and lead all aspects of a territory-based sales team, including strategy, personnel development, client relationships, sales production, reporting, etc
Drive local market knowledge initiatives to empower sales team with relevant insights and strategies for expanding market share

Balance in-market coaching and presence with effective remote leadership, ensuring consistent engagement and execution across geographies
Lead seamlessly in both remote and in-person environments, adapting approach to maintain culture, accountability, and performance in a hybrid model
Be an effective partner with other internal teams such as billing, operations, finance, product, marketing and more
Effectively communicates ZG Rental’s value proposition through presentations, industry events, executive meetings, and sales proposals to upscale the team, meetings and opportunities
