We are looking for an Inside Sales Manager to lead a high-performing B2C sales team in a fast-paced, call center / inbound sales environment. You will manage a team of inside sales representatives and account managers, driving performance across a high-volume pipeline of homeowner leads. This role plays a crucial part in improving sales performance and conversion rates through effective goal setting, coaching, and day-to-day team support. As a hands-on sales leader, you’ll develop talent, lead ongoing sales training, and implement scalable strategies that drive revenue growth while enhancing the customer experience. This is an ideal opportunity for a sales manager with experience leading remote inside sales teams or call center agents, who thrives in a metrics-driven environment and enjoys building high-performing teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales management, with a strong focus on performance management for telephonic sales teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and drive operational improvements.
  • Proven experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Prior experience managing remote teams, with a data-driven approach to tracking and improving performance.
  • Strong decision-making skills—able to assess multiple paths, collaborate with key stakeholders, and align outcomes with business goals.
  • Skilled in defining short-term success metrics that align with long-term company objectives.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, ensuring clear ownership and focus across the team.
  • Effective in conflict resolution, fostering open communication and collaboration, and knowing when to engage additional stakeholders or HR.
  • Attendance at four onsite events per year, which will involve travel. Participation in these events is mandatory.
  • Obtain and maintain a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license under the terms of the SAFE Act and Regulation Z within 60 days of your start date and keep it in good standing throughout your employment.
  • Be subject to the required NMLS registration, which includes a criminal background and credit check.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of a high-volume inside sales team, ensuring consistent coverage.
  • Partner with Account Managers/Sales Reps to navigate complex homeowner scenarios.
  • Resolve escalated homeowner concerns with urgency and professionalism.
  • Set and manage monthly sales targets aligned to company goals.
  • Evaluate quantitative and qualitative performance through reporting and call reviews.
  • Coach and develop inside sales representatives and account managers to improve conversion rates, call performance, and revenue attainment.
  • Lead consistent 1:1s and team meetings focused on accountability and development.
  • Develop and implement monthly sales training plans.
  • Interview and hire new Account Managers.
  • Guide new Account Managers/Sales Reps through the onboarding process.
  • Meet with cross-functional partners regularly to provide support on sales-related initiatives.
  • Lead call center sales initiatives, including inbound and outbound campaigns, scripting, call volume expectations, and SLA management.
  • Optimize new and existing sales processes to increase the ease and productivity of your team while improving the customer experience.
