About The Position

As Sales Manager III – New Business at Sinch, you’ll play a critical role in fueling our growth by driving top-of-funnel sales activity and contributing to high-quality pipeline development. This role is focused on targeted prospecting, early-stage lead qualification, and setting the foundation for successful sales engagements. You will be on the front lines of our go-to-market strategy, helping identify new customer opportunities and collaborating closely with Senior Sales Managers and Sales Executives to advance prospects through the funnel. You’ll conduct high-volume outreach across multiple channels—including email, phone, and social media—to generate interest and schedule discovery calls. By engaging with leads and assessing their fit, you’ll qualify opportunities and contribute directly to pipeline expansion. Your attention to detail in capturing customer insights, managing CRM data, and preparing effective handoffs will support sales execution and forecasting accuracy. This role is ideal for a driven, curious, and collaborative sales professional eager to build strong foundational skills in sales strategy, communication, and solution positioning, while working alongside a high-performing team in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in sales, business development, customer-facing, or prospecting roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with high activity targets and managing multiple conversations at once
  • Organized, self-driven, and eager to learn from feedback and coaching
  • A proactive mindset and strong curiosity about customer needs and market dynamics
  • This role is primarily remote, but candidates must reside near one of our hub locations for occasional collaboration: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO; Seattle, WA

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Utilizing effective strategies and tools to discover, cover territories, and qualify high-potential prospects efficiently.
  • Opportunity Development: The process of identifying, organizing, and tracking sales opportunities within the pipeline to prioritize efforts, forecast revenue, and ensure a consistent flow of deals toward closure. This skill focuses on efficiency and maximizing outcomes from available opportunities
  • Value Proposition: Effectively communicating the value and benefits of the solution to the client, ensuring alignment with their needs and securing buy-in.
  • Pricing & Contract Negotiation: Engaging in negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial agreements, balancing client satisfaction with organizational goals
  • Market & Vertical Intelligence: In-depth understanding of the market, including key players, competitive landscape, and emerging trends. This knowledge helps identify potential leads and opportunities for business growth.
  • Qualifying Client Discovery - Qualifying involves evaluating potential prospects to determine their fit as viable leads and their readiness to engage in the sales process. This competency includes using insights to shape conversations and identifying whether a prospect meets the criteria to move forward in the sales funnel.
