About The Position

We're looking for a self-motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join the Gilt City team. The Gilt City & Brand Partnerships Manager will lead, develop and maintain partnerships with external vendors to drive sales and create offers on our site for the Gilt City business. You will also lead a team of an additional account executive and collaborate with many cross functional teams to contribute to the success of the business. As Manager, you will be responsible for finding new brand partnerships and identifying new trends/categories to feature on the site along with growing and maintaining other key verticals for the Gilt City business. Along with Gilt City, as Manager, you will also own the RGG box insert business by securing partnerships and inserts for both Gilt and RueLaLa.

Requirements

  • Proven results in a sales environment in the e-commerce space with 6+ years' experience
  • Business Acumen and data analysis skills, including understanding of merchandising financials, retail math and profitability
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage resistance and provide options for your business partners
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Salesforce knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute against targets identified and agreed upon by management on a quarterly basis
  • Own and drive full cycle sales on a continual basis by bringing in new accounts and maintaining or growing relationships to achieve and exceed revenue target
  • Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Creative, Tech, Boutique Production, Finance, Marketing, Editorial, and programming
  • Act as key partner in vendor relationships and for all internal contacts both pre and post-sale
  • Support management and oversight of day-to-day prioritization for Gilt City business
  • Maintain nimbleness and flexibility while keeping self and partners organized while prioritizing a wide scope of accounts
  • Troubleshoot challenges, identify solutions and direct next steps to keep work and projects moving
