About The Position

Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of digital display advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. We help advertisers reach Amazon customers on Amazon.com, across our other owned and operated sites, on other high quality sites across the web, and on millions of Kindles, tablets, and mobile devices. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including advertising. We are seeking a strategic Senior Manager to lead our Fashion, Fitness and Luxury vertical sales organization. This role requires a leader who can operate in ambiguity, define strategy where problems and opportunities are not yet clear, and use significant expertise and high judgment to design the right team structure and mechanisms to meet long-term business goals.

Requirements

  • Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Experience managing and building high-performance sales teams
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and organizational levels
  • 10+ years of marketing, brand advertising, media sales or online advertising work and close work with senior advertisers and agency stakeholders experience

  • Experience in fashion, luxury, or lifestyle brand advertising
  • Knowledge of digital advertising solutions and programmatic advertising

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the strategic vision for the Fashion vertical, distilling diverse inputs from large customer segments and stakeholders to set direction and achieve consensus on priorities
  • Design long-term strategies and mechanisms that address unique industry needs including brand positioning requirements, multi-channel attribution, and social marketing integration.
  • Partner across organizations (Retail, AWS, Prime Video, Sports, Music, Twitch, Creators) to ensure the vertical is set up for success with integrated solutions
  • Stay abreast of fashion industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging advertising innovations both inside and outside Amazon
  • Manage a team of 7+ direct reports, typically including other managers
  • Attract, hire, and retain top sales talent with fashion industry expertise and consultative selling capabilities
  • Enable your team to exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals
  • Create and implement sales programs, tools, and mechanisms that increase team performance and scale across the vertical
  • Foster an inclusive culture where every team member feels valued, trusted, and connected
