About The Position

Establishes goals to achieve with Sales Department, Works directly with BDC to maximize opportunities, Backs up Finance department when needed and sells finance and insurance programs to new and used vehicle customers to produce additional revenue by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Works directly with Sales Department to achieve goals, Works deals directly with Sales staff and Clients. Establishes and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, factory and otherwise. Submits paperwork to and obtain approval from lenders. Works with sales managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale. Sets up finance forecasting to achieve a desired percent of penetration and income. Attends manager's meetings. Prepares necessary forms or agreements to complete sale. Evaluates costs and revenue of agreements to determine if they are profitable to continue. Sells service plans, guaranteed asset protection coverage (GAP), mechanical breakdown insurance (MBI), life and disability coverage. Enters customer data and other sales data into computer database. Prepares daily operating report (DOR) showing dollars vs delivered units, MSI's, life, disability, gap vs dollars sold etc. Delivers deposits received along with receipt book to accounting. Verifies all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes and legal compliance etc. Develops and maintains relationships with customers. Acquires licenses for selling insurance. Requires being at work on time and have satisfactory attendance. Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to work well with others, professional appearance, good math and clerical skills, working knowledge of office machines, positive attitude, excellent organization skills.
  • Individual should perform duties with little or no supervision, read and comprehend instructions and information, be able to work weekends and overtime.
  • Individual should be honest, ethical, dependable and a team player.
  • High School Diploma and two years of related education or 3 years of related experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
