About The Position
Vasinee Food Corporation is a family-owned and operated import and distribution company based in Brooklyn, NY, seeking a Sales/Logistics Coordinator to support our order processing and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, well-organized, and detail-oriented, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. We are committed to providing training to ensure the successful candidate can excel in their role. The work environment is relaxed, and we offer perks such as three meals per day to our employees. As a Sales/Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for various duties including phone sales and order processing, maintaining customer accounts, arranging logistics and scheduling, and analyzing lead times, shipping costs, and rate proposals. You will also provide customer service, troubleshoot issues, compile and run sales reports as required, and assist with additional tasks as needed. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within our logistics and sales departments, contributing to the overall success of the company.
