Express, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our team at the Oakwood store. The Sales Leader plays a crucial role in driving operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, while also assisting in training associates to deliver an exceptional in-store shopping experience for customers. This position is integral to the success of the store, as it involves motivating and developing associates to maximize their sales potential and ensuring that all aspects of daily store operations are executed effectively. In this role, you will provide in-the-moment coaching and training to store associates, ensuring that they are equipped to handle customer service, stockroom management, and the execution of store standards. You will partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance and assist in training them on store operations, product knowledge, policies, and procedures. Your responsibilities will also include executing action plans that optimize results, overseeing the checkout experience, and managing merchandise flow, including shipment and replenishment. As a Sales Leader, you will monitor and analyze the customer service provided by team members, build effective schedules, and promote an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences. You will lead by example, resolving customer service issues positively and displaying expert knowledge of products, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs. Additionally, you will provide leadership and assistance with product launches, visual presentation standards, and other essential functions as directed by your supervisor.
