We’re looking for a Sales Leader who can operate with startup intensity while driving toward a $1B transformational target. This role blends fast-cycle execution with strategic deal-making, requiring a rare mix of urgency, creativity, and enterprise-level thinking. The Sales Leader– Industry Verticals will lead go-to-market execution across targeted industries, driving revenue growth, client engagement, and market share expansion. This VP level leader will be responsible for translating NTT’s strategic vision into actionable sales plans, developing high-performing teams, and fostering deep industry relationships. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in technology services sales, deep industry expertise, and a passion for delivering client-centric solutions, while thriving in a matrixed environment and building strong OEM partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 12+ years of sales experience, with at least 8+ years in sales leadership capacity managing teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Proven success in leading sales organizations within the technology services industry, with a focus on industry verticals.
  • Experience building and managing strategic OEM partnerships to drive joint sales and innovation.
  • Demonstrated success operating in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Deep understanding of modern IT infrastructure and services, including cloud, networking, security, and edge computing.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage complex sales cycles and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership presence, with the ability to influence across teams and levels.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by aligning sales strategies with industry-specific trends, challenges, and opportunities across verticals such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and public sector.
  • Own the full lifecycle of strategic pursuits—from ideation to close—across F500 global accounts.
  • Lead and execute high-velocity sales motions that feed into transformational opportunities.
  • Operate with a founder’s mindset: build, iterate, and scale growth programs with minimal friction.
  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with OEMs and technology partners to co-create go-to-market initiatives, expand solution offerings, and accelerate growth within industry verticals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales leaders and account executives focused on solution selling and customer success within their respective industries.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for strategic clients, ensuring alignment between client needs and NTT’s portfolio of services and solutions.
  • Operate effectively within a large, matrixed organization—partnering across business units, geographies, and functions to drive alignment and execution.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, delivery, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution of sales strategies and client solutions.
  • Establish clear KPIs and accountability frameworks to drive predictable execution and continuous improvement.
  • Support transformation initiatives within the sales organization, including enablement, training, and adoption of modern sales methodologies.
  • Champion NTT’s High-Performance Culture, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity.
