About The Position

The Sales Lead at Visionworks of America Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in the optical retail environment. This position requires a charismatic individual who is passionate about helping customers with their eyewear needs while ensuring the store meets its sales goals. The Sales Lead will engage with patients, recommend products, and oversee daily operations to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.

Requirements

  • 12 months of optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.
  • Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the best possible journey for every patient and customer.
  • Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
  • Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuous training and development.
  • Troubleshoot eyewear needs as necessary.
  • Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals, including opening and closing the store.
