The Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for patients and customers. This position requires a knowledgeable individual who can guide customers through their eyewear journey, ensuring their needs are met effectively and efficiently. The role involves both sales and operational responsibilities, making it essential for the candidate to have prior experience in the optical industry.

  • Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
  • Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
  • Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuous training and development.
  • Troubleshoot eyewear needs as necessary.
  • Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals, including opening and closing the store as needed.
  • 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
  • Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.
