Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of 1-3 years of general office or sales experience within the technical service industry
  • Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate organizational and follow-up skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Receives sales calls from existing customers and potential customers and provides product information, pricing, and product availability.
  • Provides information to customers to help them in their purchasing decisions for company products and services.
  • Accurately processes sales orders from incoming calls as well as orders generated from outside sales representatives.
  • Prepares purchase orders, assigns order numbers, and coordinates purchases from suppliers and/or in-house inventory.
  • Receives/creates sales leads and referrals, provides customer assistance and refers calls to appropriate outside sales representative.
  • Calculates costs and prepares contracts for services and products.
  • Assists in the preparation of sales proposals and price quotations.
  • May travel to job sites to coordinate aspects of job and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communicates customer requirements and requests support from other departments to assist in achieving established objectives. Utilizes expertise of service center staff to assist in business development, job costing, and preparation of proposals.
  • Prepares sales reports, updates lead database, and performs administrative support within the office.
  • Schedules installations, oversees ordering of equipment and materials for the job, and provides general installation instructions.
  • Reschedules cancelled installation appointments.
  • Observes all safety and company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Follows the guidelines for the Senior Care, Ethics, and Quality Assurance Process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
