About The Position

The Sales Lead is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring that the company's values and guiding principles are at the forefront of all store operations. This includes providing a great customer experience and maximizing profitability. The Sales Lead plays a crucial role in creating a positive work environment where team members can learn and grow.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular attendance is essential to ensure adequate coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and communicate clear expectations, holding store team accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Perform and oversee basic operational activities such as opening and closing duties, and merchandise flow processes.
  • Supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, and cash reconciliation.
  • Utilize weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; present and display merchandise according to current promotions and standards.
  • Develop a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
  • Train and coach the selling team on product knowledge both online and in-store.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards.
  • Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  • Support and implement training programs and provide follow-up.
  • Drive associate and team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
