Requirements

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
  • Have experience working with technical professionals in Petroleum engineering / Geoscience.
  • Subsurface knowledge could be acquired through academic background OR developed through work experience.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in customer facing roles eg. Applications Engineer, Operations Coordinator, Sales, Consulting etc.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Closing new business deals by prospecting leads, developing and negotiating pricing, and closing sales and building repeat order relationships.
  • Developing new customer relationships by networking and cold calling including networking at various industry and social events and leveraging other company product lines.
  • Managing the complete sales process requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally.
  • Handling important clients for the GaffneyCline Energy Advisory business.
  • Cooperating with technical colleagues to answer customer requests, discuss local conditions and build proposals.
  • Some regional travel may be required.
