About The Position
The position is responsible for verifying, tracking, and reporting on inventory. The candidate will coordinate with planning and production to control inventory management, scheduling, and material planning. They will manage the inventory levels for finished goods and raw materials using historical data and forward-looking sales data and trends to direct inventory levels. Additionally, the role involves assisting with coordinating activities of all staff engaged in inventory control and ensuring inventory record accuracy. The candidate will also coordinate and lead site-level strategic inventory plans that align with corporate objectives for Working Capital and On-time Delivery. Maintaining inventory as required by the sales and operations planning process, customer requirements, production schedules, and corporate inventory management objectives is crucial. The candidate will review current inventory positions for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods, providing weekly/monthly summaries and presenting upon request.
