About The Position

An internship at Medicus isn’t quite what you would expect of a typical internship. At Medicus, our internships are highly experiential and have been designed to emulate a true sales culture. Our internship program allows our interns to return to school with real-life experience, polished selling skills, and a fresh perspective. If you bring the willingness to learn and relentless work ethic, we will provide the hands-on learning… and the fun! Are you ready to do things differently? This internship will begin in Summer 2026 and is based onsite at our office in Windham, New Hampshire.

Requirements

  • Are enrolled in a Bachelor’s program
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Believe in being a team and working collaboratively to solve problems
  • Are comfortable contacting people and making introductions over the phone
  • Enjoy working in a challenging, dynamic environment and are eager for professional development

Nice To Haves

  • Sales minor or participant in a sales group or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Jump in and help make a difference at hospitals and health systems nationwide
  • Identify and build relationships with prospective physicians through inbound marketing leads, prospecting lists, direct sourcing, and research
  • Conduct cold calls, learn to bypass gatekeepers, and overcome objections
  • Track local and regional activity through territory mapping exercises – economy/industry, hospital/health system trends
  • Craft your pitch, build rapport, and explain Medicus’ value proposition to target accounts
  • Schedule phone calls with key stakeholders and C-Suite Executives
  • Use Salesforce and Bullhorn to track activity, manage and update prospects
  • Attend daily morning team meetings, cross-departmental meetings, and weekly one on one check-ins
