About The Position

This paid internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of the sales functions within Lumbermen’s and to assist in a variety of tasks and projects. Interns will be able to work alongside the sales team(s) and will complete a special project to gain valuable experience in the field and better our organization going forward. Specific opportunities this position offers include: Learning company philosophies, culture, and branding Learning communication and presentation skills Assisting sales support via ride-alongs and distribution of product samples and literature Understanding the business channels we operate in and how we go to market Gaining financial acumen Helping navigate and providing recommendations for improving our CRM (customer relationship management) tool Attending and assisting with the planning of sales events Gaining experience in social media including researching new platforms Researching ways to give back to the community Completing a special project (to be determined based on areas of interest in the above)

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of college coursework completed in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • Desire and willingness to learn
