About The Position

As a Silvi Materials Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to tap into the world of concrete and learn what the world's most used building material is all about. You will get to work alongside our All Star Sales Team while building on your skills. You will report to our experienced Sales Director during your 10-12-week experience.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Concrete Industry Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, showing a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of our Sales Team: 80% field, 20% office daily.
  • Work within the field, typically client construction sites.
  • Act as on-site manager during concrete placements.
  • Process mix design submissions with QC.
  • Assist and support the sales manager and sales team in day-to-day activities, contributing to the overall sales process.
  • Observe and learn about sales strategies, techniques, and customer interactions.
  • Take on specific tasks assigned by the sales team, such as preparing presentations, conducting market research, or organizing sales data.
  • Gain hands-on experience by interacting with clients, managing leads, and supporting the sales pipeline.
  • Process quotes through customer requests.
  • Partner with the plant, dispatch, accounting, quality control, and other departments.
  • Communicate information to the appropriate individuals/agencies.
