Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of relevant experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Self-directed and a willingness to work independently at times
  • Desire and willingness to learn about serving others & consultative selling within the insurance industry
  • A positive attitude that embraces teamwork and learning while understanding the importance of individual effort, habits and results.

Responsibilities

  • Agree to and execute 3 days per week in office for setting appointments, prep/call/follow up experience, and more. No remote hours will be approved.
  • Understand the primary goal of this internship is to consistently set new business consultative appointments for our teams, and learn / grow through that process
  • Attend weekly in-person check-in and coaching sessions with your producer mentors at the Fort Worth office including a quick check-in call with Fort Worth Area President
  • Keep updated a running list of all set meetings, progress post-meeting, and follow up details with each throughout your internship.
  • Proactively schedule additional time with SRMs, Producers, etc., as needed for support and guidance.
  • When 3 “set meetings” are achieved in any week, find time on mentors’ schedules to shadow or join them on client / prospect meetings later that week, as desired.
  • Record and submit hours worked, along with confirmed set meetings that occur for additional commission component outlined below.
  • Prepare for and present a final project to HUB Fort Worth leadership (and your mentors) on success, challenges, results and key areas of improvement, at the end of your internship.
