About The Position

Through a combination of growth and acquisitions, Silvi Materials have together become one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of concrete products in the Northeast, US. Today, Silvi Materials manufactures concrete at multiple state locations and supplies those plants with materials from Silvi owned mining operations and a deep-water port facility. As a Silvi Materials Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to tap into the world of concrete and learn what the world’s most used building material it is all about. You will get to work alongside our All Start Sales Team while building on your skills. You will report to our experienced Sales Director during your 10–12-week experience. So, what does a Sales Intern do? You'll be an integral part of our Sales Team: 80% field, 20% office daily Work within the field, typically client construction sites On site manager during concrete placements. Process mix design submissionsw ith QC. Assist and support the sales manager and sales team in day-to-day activities, contributing to the overall sales process. Observe and learn about sales strategies, techniques, and customer interactions. Take on specific tasks assigned by the sales team, such as preparing presentations, conducting market research, or organizing sales data. Gain hands-on experience by interacting with clients, managing leads, and supporting the sales pipeline. Processing quotes through customer requests Partner with the plant, dispatch, accounting, quality control and other departments Communicates information to the appropriate individuals/agencies.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Concrete Industry Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, showing a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable Transportation
