Sales Intern
About The Position
LINK Media is looking for a Advertising Sales Intern to help us sell advertising and sponsorships for print, digital, social media and events for LINK nky and CityBeat. We need someone interested selling advertising in a B2B environment to sell through our inventory to support the largest news organization in the NKY Metro. We're a small company, so everyone we hire is a critical member of the team, and must be willing to work quickly, accept that we don't have everything figured out, remain flexible, and above all else, understand that what we are creating is bigger than any one person, or personality. Salary: $17 an hour, plus commission.

Responsibilities
- Find and close sales, day in and day out
- Phone calls to reach out to folks who are or might be interested in advertising
- Networking in the community to meet new prospects and promote LINK nky
- Clear communication with our production and accounting staff to execute on sales closed
- Excellent, consultative customer service to keep our advertisers and sponsors happy
- Ethical and honest treatment of our team and our advertisers and sponsors.
