About The Position

We’re looking for a driven and coachable Sales Intern to join our SaaS sales team. As a Sales Intern, you’ll play an active role in building our customer pipeline by engaging prospective clients through outbound cold calls and emails. This is a hands-on, in office opportunity to learn how modern B2B cybersecurity sales teams operate in the software industry.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field with a high GPA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with professionals at all levels over the phone.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Competitive, resilient, and receptive to feedback.
  • Passion for technology, SaaS products, and the sales process.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Make a high volume of cold calls, emails and LinkedIn activity daily to decision-makers across target industries.
  • Help to drive attendance to Island Marketing events and do quality follow up Post events.
  • Communicate the value of our SaaS platform clearly and confidently to potential customers.
  • Research and qualify leads using CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • Schedule and confirm discovery calls or demos for Account Executives.
  • Record accurate call notes and update prospect details in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales management to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
  • Track daily activity metrics and contribute to achieving overall team goals.
  • Create self paced projects that will help you learn and grow.
