About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Intern. This role offers hands-on experience in insurance agency sales support. You’ll gain exposure to industry tools, learn best practices, and contribute to real projects that drive growth. Through training, mentorship, and research, you will develop a foundational knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance and available career paths.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Interest in sales, marketing, or insurance.
  • Ability to research and write content effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow experienced agents, learn about different insurance products (P&C, Life, Benefits), use agency management software, and develop a personal sales plan.
  • Investigate industry trends and target markets.
  • Identify leads, build lead lists, and validate data.
  • Follow up with engaged prospects and hand off to Producers.
  • Contribute to email marketing campaigns for Producers and the Agency.
  • Assist in reviewing reports and tracking client lists.
  • Help with data entry, entering prospects, and opportunity management.
