About The Position

The Sales Intern - Aftermarket position at Big Ass Fans offers a unique opportunity for interns to engage directly with the Customer Service team. Interns will proactively contact existing customers to review preventive maintenance programs and gather insights into customer buying habits. This role emphasizes learning and making a real impact, culminating in a presentation of findings to company executives at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year degree program
• Available to work a consistent weekly schedule
• Self-motivated, driven, success-oriented individual
• Excellent telephone etiquette, communication and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Desire to learn and grow professionally

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact the existing customer database via phone and email to review our preventative maintenance program with the goal of providing quotations for services.
• Collect and document intel regarding customer buying habits surrounding preventative maintenance services to identify trends and opportunities for growth to management.
• Review and assess preventative maintenance collateral based on customer buying trends and habits to provide feedback to management.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to document all call and email activity.
• Ability to hit established KPIs surrounding daily outbound calls.
• Ability to summarize findings and recommendations in written and verbal form.
