About The Position

As a Sales Insights & Analytics Lead within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales data analysis function. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that sales data is accurately captured, analyzed, and presented, enabling strategic decision-making, driving revenue growth, and enhancing sales effectiveness across Guidehouse.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum 6-8 years of prior relevant experience; OR 10 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Expertise in CRM platforms (Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong capability to interpret complex data sets
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to take ownership of projects from planning through execution

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, MS Dynamics), business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI), and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint
  • Proven track record in designing and maintaining dashboards and reports that monitor key sales metrics, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Expertise in interpreting complex sales data, providing actionable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making
  • Experience preparing monthly reporting packages for Board and Senior Leadership, integrating data from CRM and finance systems
  • Strong understanding of data governance standards, sales forecasting, KPI standardization, and industry best practices in sales operations
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical audiences and provide ongoing support to sales leadership
  • Familiarity with AI tools and financial principles to align sales reporting with organizational goals
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are located within 50 miles of Guidehouse office
