The Siemens Electrification & Automation’s Utility Systems & Solutions segment is seeking a Sales Incentive Program Manager for our US regions. The Utility Systems & Solutions business is responsible for growth, and development of EA’s Utility and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) markets. The product portfolio includes but is not limited to Medium Voltage Switchgear (AIS & GIS), Pad-mount Switchgear, Outdoor Circuit Breakers, MV Control, Power Equipment Centers, Overhead Distribution Products, Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, Photovoltaic (PV) Inverters, and ancillary MV and LV products that are routinely part of complete electrical packaged solutions in substations, power plants, and renewable energy power generation. We are looking for a Sales Incentive Program Manager to join our Utility Sales Operations & Analytics team at our Wendell, NC facility. This position will be Remote, with occasional travel to out Wendell, NC Facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in compensation design, with demonstrated experience in B2B or technical industries.
  • Proficient in the use of Salesforce.com standard objects, reports, and dashboards.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to identify sales team and customer issues and develop effective resolution strategies.
  • Proven understanding of key business metrics and the ability to identify and leverage growth opportunities that align with customer success and company objectives.
  • Knowledge of the Power Utility market, including its customer base and product offerings.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree or CCP certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to resolve conflicting data.
  • Familiarity with CRM/Sales Performance Management platforms (e.g., Xactly, Salesforce SPIFF).
  • Solid understanding of compliance, pay equity, and regulatory considerations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis.
  • Tenacity to overcome obstacles and drive success with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, evaluating, and refining incentive compensation plans across sales, operations, and support functions.
  • Completing market research and competitive benchmarking to ensure plans are aligned with industry standards.
  • Collaborating with business unit leaders, Finance, and HR to align compensation plans with strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including pay equity.
  • Designing and evaluating additional compensation mechanisms (e.g., SPIFs, special bonuses).
  • Building and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools to track incentive plan effectiveness and ROI.
  • Partnering with Finance and Sales Operations for accurate performance metric reporting.
  • Resolving any discrepancies identified by Power Utility sales teams.
  • Developing compensation models, simulations, and scenario analyses.
  • Preparing performance reports and insights for senior leadership.
  • Analyzing performance data to recommend strategic improvements.
  • Providing analytics and recommendations for future compensation plans.
