About The Position

Our Hyatt Vacation Club at Highlands Inn property in Carmel, CA, is looking for a Sales Front Desk Specialist to join our team! The position involves meeting and greeting guests as they arrive for scheduled sales presentations or stop by the sales gallery for general information. The specialist ensures that all guests are comfortable and offers refreshments as they wait for sales presentations. Responsibilities include assigning guests to the proper Sales Executive, tracking and updating reports regarding line rotation, awarding premiums to guests upon completion of sales presentations, and ensuring that common areas in the gallery are neat, clean, and stocked with various hospitality items. The role also involves managing direct tours and sales wave availability, communicating updated tour availability to Sales Front Desk and Marketing Executives, and providing personal planning services for guests.

Requirements

  • Must be open to work weekends.
  • Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet guests as they arrive for scheduled sales presentations.
  • Ensure guests are comfortable and offer refreshments.
  • Assign guests to proper Sales Executive and track line rotation.
  • Award premiums to guests upon completion of sales presentations.
  • Ensure common areas in the gallery are neat, clean, and stocked.
  • Input and manage all direct tours and sales wave availability.
  • Communicate updated tour availability to Sales Front Desk and Marketing Executives.
  • Contact preview package customers to confirm arrival dates.
  • Provide personal planning services including dining reservations and activities.
  • Cross-reference information and reservations in multiple computer systems.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
