Scope of Position The Sales Forecasting Analyst, Amazon is responsible for building and maintaining demand forecasts supporting our Amazon 1P business. This role performs the analysis, modeling, and scenario work required to generate accurate forecasts based on retail performance, promotional activity, and demand signals. Forecasts developed by this role are reviewed, adjusted, and formally approved by Amazon Sales leadership, which retains final ownership and accountability. This position sits at the center of the Amazon business, bridging Amazon Vendor Central retail demand, internal forecasting, inventory planning, and operational execution. Success requires a strong understanding of Amazon 1P mechanics, inventory health, lead times, and how Amazon demand signals convert into internal planning and decision-making. The role partners closely with Amazon Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to ensure the Amazon business is planned, supplied, and executed with discipline and clarity.
