About The Position

Ace Hardware of Thomasville is seeking an outgoing, friendly and helpful team member to join our tight knit family and assist customers on our sales floor. This is a part time sales floor opening. 24 to 32 hours per week. Possibly more during busy seasons. Requirements

  • Customer service is our #1 priority! You are- Friendly and helpful! Loves providing great customer service!
  • Basic knowledge of home repair projects.
  • You'll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • We are open seven days a week. You must have availability to work weekdays and weekends.
  • PREVIOUS SELLING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

  • experience in- HARDWARE, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, PAINT, LAWN & GARDEN

Responsibilities

  • You'll work directly welcoming customers and helping them find everything necessary to complete their home repair project in one trip.
  • Provide advice on product and projects. Be helpful and excited!
  • Maintain the store's appearance by organizing product daily. We like to look good all the time!
  • Weekly sorting and stocking of new product on the sales floor that arrives from our Ace distribution center.
  • Help manage price changes and signage throughout the store.
