This position requires someone who is motivated and driven to deliver the right solution and own the customer experience. The individual will also need to understand a consultative and collaborative approach. They must be able to work with Custom Home Builders, Architects, Designers, Electricians as each one of these groups will deliver potential leads and opportunities. The individual should have a keen understanding of the high-end market and the demands of that market. They must be comfortable discussing product solutions in the tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars. The individual needs to understand technology, how it integrates into a person’s life and can simplify the explanation of the technology while making recommendations to the end user or referral source. The individual needs to define the scope of work clearly and explore alternatives by having a deep understanding of the industry. The individual must be comfortable with a long sales cycle (3-6 months) and be willing to establish long term partnerships with referral sources to maintain an active funnel.
