About The Position

This position is with Dark Matter Technologies, part of Andromeda within Constellation Software. Dark Matter Technologies is a leading provider of innovative mortgage technology solutions designed to modernize lending workflows and enhance operational efficiency for financial institutions. The role is responsible for selling software products and services for the LOS Sales Team within Dark Matter’s Revenue Organization, targeting both new and existing clients to drive revenue growth and support new-business objectives. Looking for a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. Has complete knowledge of company products and services. Typically sells through a specific channel, having own territory, or working on a team and is responsible for medium-sized quota/territory. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new projects or assignments. Typically requires eight (8) years or more of field sales experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • Requires 10+ years of sales experience
  • Experience selling to financial institutions and mortgage banking operations at the C-suite level
  • Mortgage industry experience
  • Knowledge of Dark Matter’s products, services and capabilities a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling products and/or services, developing new accounts, and/or expanding existing accounts
  • Initiates contact with prospective customers to sell targeted Dark Matter products and/or services
  • Works as a member of a sales team to sell assigned products or services to identified key accounts
  • Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets, and competitive intelligence
  • Prepares and presents proposals to clients - utilizing Dark Matter resources and tools
  • Negotiates, structures, and closes "deals" that meet customer expectations and Dark Matter’s ability to deliver
  • Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies
  • Meets sales goals and objectives
