About The Position

The sales executive, through interaction with customers and third parties closes highly profitable energy deals for Vistra Corp. The Sales Executive I manages a book of business within a defined geographic territory and establishes customer relationships, negotiates contracts and closes transactions contributing to an individual sales goal. The Sales Executive also manages the customer relationship post sales by ensuring post-sales service issues and resolved by internal support teams and the customer communication continue throughout the process.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years job related experience is preferred
  • Experience managing an individual quota is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision
  • Capacity to work independently or as part of a sales team
  • High school diploma or equivalent, experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed company sales and customer service objectives
  • Efficiently and accurately manage deadlines and start/end dates of customer contracts paired with renewal offers and pricing requests.
  • Provide outreach to inactive prospects/customers through individualized prospecting efforts and schedule warm lead conversations
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer information with sales operations, ensuring customer and/or broker issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Work with management to refine sales strategy to optimize efficiency and results
  • Capacity to work independently or as part of a sales team
