An international freight forwarder and NVOCC is seeking dynamic and highly-motivated individuals to join their growing sales team and help expand their services. The primary focus of this role will be on international ocean and air freight sales for both imports and exports, as well as local drayage, warehousing, and customs brokerage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding sales, with a minimum of three years of experience in this field, particularly in NVOCC and 3PL sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying their shipping needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to produce results. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as impeccable negotiation abilities. The candidate should possess a positive, can-do attitude and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. In addition to a competitive base salary, the position offers a generous commission structure, a 401K plan with potential matching, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans. Paid vacation and personal time off (PTO) days are also included, along with a car allowance, cell phone, and laptop to support the sales efforts. This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, requiring in-person work at the company's location.
